Sometimes life is real. Last week this hit home for me as a friend was grieving the loss of his daughter by murder, another friend watched her son get hit by a car, and a marriage in my extended family crumbled. Thankfully, the Bible is real too, and it doesn't gloss over the realities of life. We are broken people, by the circumstances around us, and by our own falling short of God's glory. What a comfort to have a gentle Savior to carry us through our broken times, to breath on our charred faith when our light is about to go out.
Whether things are dark in my life or whether things are going well, it is always His strength that carries me along.
